When Marion saved an old skirt from the bin, she had an idea. The scenes of rural life in an idealised European past were too appealing to be thrown away. In fact, she decided they would make a charming addition to her new house.
Marion picked out the best parts of the old French material and pinned them into embroidery hoops.
This is clothes recycling done in a whole new way. I am looking forward to seeing the display for real once coronavirus lets up and we can all return to socialising.
