Someone commented that this dress was very much me. So it should be – a first try of a new pattern that I plan to use again.

The idea of using the same pattern many times but completely changing the look by varying fabrics and detailing, had never occurred to me – until a friend of a friend showed me her 20 or so Dirndls, all based on the same pattern and yet all looking completely different.

Morale: If it fits, make another one!
